Worship
SUNDAY SERVICE
10:30 AM
In a world of heartbreak and dehumanization, we gather in spiritual community to find meaning and live more deeply. Worship creates connections within, among, and beyond us, calling us to our better selves, calling us to live with wisdom and compassion.
Elements of a typical Unitarian Universalist Sunday morning worship service include:
- Words of Welcome
- Lighting a Flaming Chalice, the symbol of our faith
- A Multigenerational Segment, such as a “Story For All Ages”
- Music
- Joys and Concerns of the Congregation
- Meditation or Prayer
- Readings: Ancient or Contemporary
- Sermon
- Offering
From time to time, services incorporate
- Holiday Celebrations
- Multigenerational Plays
- Pageants
- Musical Performances
- Child Dedications
- Coming-of-Age Ceremonies
CHOIR & MUSIC
The Choir and Music Program enhances and compliments worship services by providing a variety of music and musicians. The choir usually sings once a month.
We welcome new voices! Speak to a choir member if you’re interested in singing with us.
CHILDCARE
We offer childcare and learning programs for children and youth during the Sunday service.
