Gillian Wegener is the author of two collections of poetry, The Opposite of Clairvoyance (2008) and This Sweet Haphazard (2017), both from Sixteen Rivers Press. She served as Modesto Poet Laureate from 2012-2016 and is the founding president of Modesto-Stanislaus Poetry Center. She lives in Modesto and is an educator in Oakdale.
