Drawing on the wisdom of Octavia Butler’s eerily prescient novels Parable of the Sower <\/em>and Parable of the Talents<\/em>, as well as some California indigenous people’s knowledge of wildfire, we will continue our ever on-going learning on how to renew our love for this burning world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This Sunday\u2019s service will be led by Rev. Darcy Baxter and Worship Associate Haruko DeArth. Brian Wise is filling the role of Zoom monitor and Jude Markel is the musician. Amanda Gilbert will provide the children’s story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
